Gregory Paul Mueller, M.D., FACS
Dr. Mueller is originally from the rural community of Ogallala, Nebraska. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln prior to attending the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha where he received his Medical Degree.

Dr. Mueller pursued post-graduate training initially at the University of California-Irvine where he completed a General Surgery Residency. Subsequently, he completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Southern California. He established his practice in Beverly Hills in 1998 where he remains today.

He is a leader in his field and has traveled around the world teaching other colleagues his pioneering techniques in plastic surgery. Dr. Mueller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He attends and speaks at many professional meetings around the world and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

His creative talents as an inventor have led to the invention of the first and only light guided technology for cosmetic surgery. The patented ICLED® Surgical Suture System (formally called the iGuide® Surgical System) utilizes LED light guidance feedback to allow surgeons to perform procedures less invasive procedures through small punctures as opposed to large incisions. This minimally invasive approach minimizes risks, complications and procedure times. Patients heal much more quickly and have results that last.

Drs. Mueller, Aston and Leaf published a landmark paper in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal in January of 2012 describing the use of the system to construct the Trampoline Platysmaplasty. Dr. Mueller created the surgical approach and all the instruments required to perform the procedure.

In June of 2011, Dr. Mueller broke new ground in medical imaging with first-of-its-kind dynamic imaging technology. ( During that time period he was submitting his paper for publication that described the use of the light guided surgical system he invented called the ICLED® Surgical System. His frustration with still photographs and the difficulty of obtaining consistent standardized, publication quality images are what motivated him to build the first oVio360® Imaging System. Once he installed the first system in his office he soon realized the value of using the imaging in all phases of the patient experience.

Dr. Mueller and founded Implicitcare, LLC in 2008 as the company that would manufacture the device. Implicitcare received FDA clearance for the ICLED® (formally called the iGuide®) Surgical System in November of 2009. The technology is supported by clearance to market and sell the device in many developed countries around the world. In addition, 12 United States Patents, International Patents and Numerous Trademarks have been issued. This technology and approach has been in use by surgeons around the world since 2009 and has proven itself as a safe and effective approach.
